Nguyen Dinh Bao is Vietnamese, which is the reason he gives for persisting in writing his name that way (last name first, given name last), although considering he's been out of the country for quite some time, it's probably just him being perverse. He's worked with T.H.E.Y as a tech agent for thirteen of his thirty years.

He's the sort of person one would expect to have a cheesy-villain-type British acent, although he doesn't- vaguely smug, proper, and politely formal in a slightly sinister way. Gratuitous wine glass, however, not included, although eyeglasses are. Of course, appearances aren't everything.

He's yet to find someone who can pronounce his name correctly, with all the 'proper accents and such,' so he'll very cheerfully accept any more easily said nickname (suitable for mixed company) someone feels like bestowing on him.

Bao also owns a this T-shirt, or at least one like it. If you've ever seen him wear it, you're probably on his list of really close friends. He denies buying it.
